The Special Task Force (STF) and intelligence agencies have arrested at least nine people, including four adults, were arrested, and five minors aged 15-17 from UP and Bihar were detained, bringing the total in custody to 15.

Ghaziabad Police had earlier arrested six accused, which included the mastermind Sohail/Suhel Malik and Sane Iram alias Mehek.
The accused are currently in police custody and are being interrogated to get to the bottom of the conspiracy of the Pakistan ISI to infiltrate the solar-powered cameras, that were installed at key locations to monitor the movement of the armed forces.
About two key suspects, who are identified as Naushad Ali, a resident of Muzaffarpur, and Sameer alias Shooter, who is a resident of Bhagalpur in Bihar, are still absconding.
Till now, the police, from the arrested people, have recovered at least two solar-powered SIM-enabled CCTV cameras, multiple phones, SIMs, and documents. The cameras were installed at Delhi Cantonment and Sonipat Railway Station.
According to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigation, the ISI-run network was planning to install over 50 such cameras across India.
As per reports, ISI handlers were paying Rs 500-15,000 per task via WhatsApp to the recruits.
This network was actively planting disguised solar-powered CCTV cameras at critical locations to mount surveillance on Indian Army movements and transmit live feeds directly to handlers in Pakistan.
